Themes and Capabilities
Themes
DSIC's aim is to assist the Defence community in developing innovative and leading edge solutions, ultimately in support of the Australian Defence Organisation. The initial research themes which provide the impetus for this collaborative innovation are:
- Theme 1. Engineering and support of complex socio-technical systems encompassing systems engineering, systems integration and systems modelling and simulation.
- Theme 2. Network engineering encompassing modelling, measurement and management of tactical and strategic networks.
Capabilities
Underlying DSIC's Research Themes are a range of internationally acknowledged capabilities that can be accessed by the Defence community to further develop its world-class skills and knowledge.
